This painting depicts the different paths one sees on a day to day basis. When one applies what they learn in Torah to their life the mundane begins to appear different. What we see on the street becomes layered with the paths of wisdom yielded from the Torah. The higher and lower worlds begin to merge, creating an enriched life and an altered landscape.

Created with recycled materials, a guitar is imagined within the negative space of this piece. On a personal and worldly note listening to music can be a very spiritual and uplifting experience. Both classical and graffiti style painting techniques naturally blend with a serene but bold color palette. The speechless, yet emotional, reaction to hearing music can be very similar to reacting to color. Both color and sound have the power to alter reality. 

Through painting this wall hanging sculpture has a connection to the two dimensional world, but is lifted by the contrasting layers of wood. The vertical guitar strings suggest upward motion towards the Divine.
